Motherboard and SSD problem!!!

Hi, just signed up, and already have a question. I am running the Asrock Vitality Gen 3 Z68 Motherboard with I7 2700k CPU, I have several drives hooked up to it, but I just got a Samsung 830 256 gb SSD drive, and I can't boot windows 7 or 8 onto it.
When the boot gets to a certain point, it says it can't install on this drive, please check your bios settings and controllers, or something like that. Now I have my set-up as AHCI, not IDE, so I can't figure out why the Samsung won't work, any suggestions??? Thanks in advance!

I assume you board got some 3rd party SATA6 controller that you use? If then you might need to supply the vendor controller driver during setup.

Also if you make a clean install, make sure you do it without other drives. Specially older boot drives. Since part of the bootloader etc can be left on another drive.

Thanks, on that board it say not to enable the Marvell controller because a pop up screen appears and says that it would be slower then using the boards own controllers, does that make sense? So now I don't know if I should enable them to make this thing work. Thanks again.
