Motherboard and RAM

I'm going to get the Asus nForce 2 A7N8X Deluxe, is that a good mb? Also, which is the best type of ram to get?

I don't know anything about the MB you decided on I'm looking at building a P4PE, however everyone seems to like the Corsair DDR ram.

As for the speed of the ram its hard to say how fast you really need it to be. 2700, 3200, 3500 I am trying to make that decision myself.

I am also debating on just buying some cheap ram and upgrading later...

Mushkin is another good brand. On the speed of the RAM...it all depends on the mobo u r getting & whether O/Cing is on your mind.

If u just wanna run @ stock speed...the a PC2100 is for 266DDR, PC2700 is for 333DDR & PC3200 is for 400DDR. When u buy ur mobo, the dealer will tell u which type to buy.

Of course if u buy a higher rated RAM...say PC3200, it is able to run @ slower rating...but u might just save the $$ on something u need.
