Motherboard and PVR card for LinuxMCE

I'm gonna try to put together a linuxmce box. Would you guys recommend a matx motherboard (hopefully all in one: video (hdmi with audio), lan and sound) and a pvr card that is compatible with LinuxMCE? I'm pretty new with Linux so it will be a learning curve. And oh, a remote would be nice too. Thanks all!
