Well, I would say go for the Gigabyte. The Abit board looked really promising but some user opinions (such as this thread) are a little scary.

I agree with theprodigalrebel. Might want to sub the Biostar P965 board with the Abit, that doesn't use the Jmicron controller so it's similar to the Abit.

I would go with Gigabyte GA-965P-S3. For extra 24 bucks GIGABYTE GA-965P-DS3 is way to go and its worth it. The board has better Capacitors then the S3.

biostar, foxconn, s3...all good choices, but Asrock holds the crown when ur on a very tight budget

Yes, but if you've read that thread
1) that behaviour isn't unique to the abit
2) more importantly it's resolved with a BIOS update
