the ability to have more than 4 eide devices (4 hds + DVD-RW) ie, raid controller/etc
usb2
reasonably okay at overclocking

and I'm trying to keep this as cheap as possible. for an athlon XP, by the way. also, what ram would you get with the board?

Spend some time and go through the stickied threads at the top of the forum 🙂 I'm not an AMD guy. So I can't really direct you towards an AMD board.
