Mother Fvcking UPS Crushed my box again.
This time they didn't try to rebox it. Just delivered it the way it was. Crushed and beat up.
It also looks like they left it outside in the rain as the box was all brittle.
SCREW UPS~ AND THEIR SHI!TTY SERVICE.

Ordered a Wireless NIC with a 6db antenna.

Pics will be coming later tonight as I need to head off to work right now.

Oh yea, got a box delivered from FEDEX and it came in Perfect Condition.
3 Logitech mice 😛

yes UPS sucks I avoid them like the plague, Ive never had an issue with FedEx, the USPS is also good

Ordered a couple figurines for my sister's upcoming birthday last week, and the vendor shipped 'em ups.
I was off when it was delivered, the driver didn't so much as ring my doorbell, just left it on the front porch (which is okay, since I have a release signed with them.....but courtesy would dictate they ring the bell or knock on the door). BUT.....the package was obviously soaked on one side, as if it had been knocked on the ground in the rain, and left there for a few minutes!
Thank god the vendor overpacks the bejeebers out of the items they sell (Astral Castle, in case anyone is interested.....very highly recommended), as the box was soaked so badly that the glue holding the overlap joint on the side of the box had let loose, and the joint had popped open. Geez, you'd think if nothing else, once the guy knew I was home, he'd knock on the door so I could do a quick inspection of the package contents. It's not as though the release for leaving the package at the door ALSO releases them from damages to the package enroute! :disgust:

That's why, once I wrapped the gifts, and boxed them up, they'll be going out tomorrow via FEDEX. 🙂

I really should.

I'm thinking about it actually.

My UPS-Sucks Blog. And have people write their own blogs.
Is there some sort of software that allows for people to register for blogging ?

something like coppermine, but instead of pictures, blogs ?

after pressing UPS for damaging contents of my package 2 months ago (very fragile china), we got a check in the mail and i used that check to buy a replacement.

well, the new replacement broke as well. so i feel your pain :|

One of my FedEx deliveries... Poor packaging, but it obviously wasn't handled with TLC either!
You're gonna Sh!t in your pants when I upload pics later.
12:05am EST
I'll be fast asleep in 20 minutes, and won't be back till 4:00PM!

That's the worst I've ever had a package beat up, and it wasn't bad. I blame the place that packed it. Depends entirely on the hubs your stuff passes through, and the drivers. I know our current UPS driver personally, and the last one by name. The FedEx driver (don't always have the same one), just drops the stuff anywhere, and slithers off without knocking or anything. 😕

Well you'l'l have the surprise tomorrow morning or afternoon.
I'm sure it'll make your day 😛

Your hub must suck, or something. I've thankfully never had a problem that wasn't the packager's fault.

Yeah, UPS sucks.

I had them deliver some DVD+Rs that I ordered from staples over winter break. I saw the UPS guy come, so I went to the door. Much to my surprise, as I opened the door he threw my package from the other end of the garage to the door. I probably should have bitched, but I sarcastically said "thanks" and he just said sorry and was on his way.

I'm just lucky it was just DVDs in the package, especially considering how sh!ttily Staples packaged them.

They do not ever handle a package with TLC. Well, the drivers should exercise some TLC and common sense during delivery, but while the package is in transit.....

Thousands of packages are flying past the workers eyes' per hour. And then there's the whole "non-human" aspect... do you think there are pillows under each conveyor belt or something?

It is 95% the packager's responsibility to make sure that the item is going to arrive in one piece. You really must package for worst case scenario every time. No excuses.

I hate people who don't package sh!t right. LOATHE. DETEST. DIEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!

I used to use UPS for a lot of shipping but I have switched to the post office now (USPS). Never had a lost of slightly damaged package from USPS, and I have have very fragile pieces shipped by them. I collect/make prop replicas from TV and movies (very weird hobby, but it's something to do, and nothing is better than having something you have made entirely yourself. Not to mention you can walk around your house pretending there are aliens and blast them with your phaser, just like on TV. Fun yes, stupid, maybe.) Most of these pieces are made of fragile resin, and is sometimes very brittle. USPS has been very good about packages like this, and UPS has delivered me a lot of stuff that needed a lot of glue to fix it up.

Plus there is a USPS everywhere, I can walk to my towns one. UPS is a drive away. Very inconvenient for a crappy carrier.

What can Brown do for me? Come out of my ass every 20 hours (lots of Raisin Bran 😛), then get flushed.

So far, UPS has been good to me. I just got my Canon i9900 in perfect condition. It may just be because they packaged it perfectly, who knows. Never had an issue with any delivery companies.

I think all the people that complain about UPS or Fedex never pack their stuff properly
