I had to take my computer apart today due to a problem with the video card. I have an external HD sitting on top of my rig, and in the process of shuffling my computer around my messy workcenter, the enclosure fell off and scratched the hell out of my newer LCD monitor. I went to Costco, where I had originally purchased it, and they no longer sell the Sceptre line of LCDs, nor the Gateway 21" widescreen that I was planning on upgrading to. On top of that, the external drive won't power on now. It's been a really rough day 🙁

that's not going to buff out 🙁

At least prices on those things are getting cheaper every day. Sorry things are going rough for you...it's Friday at least.

Yes. Granted, there is no question this was my fault, but that's what return policies are for...if you are unhappy with your purchase. The money was going to stay in Costco as I planned to upgrade.

no this is NOT what return policies are for. They are for if you buy it and do not like it or it was busted on purchase. NOT for you to break something and return it.
