First I have to reinstall Windows (not an entirely bad thing, I upgraded to Vista 64 bit and its cool).

Then I set in traffic for 2 hours in LA.

Worst of all.......

....

.... Windows finishes installing and I run to my computer with by brand new Crysis disk.

It was printed defectively at the factory and the hole is about 2mm off center. WTFFFF.

Best Buy better take it back.

My Half-Life CD was defective. The store (Babbage's... we're talking '98 or '99 here) let me exchange it.

are you sure its not working, i went thru three version of the special edition from Circuit City before I said screw it and let it work itself out, the disk kind runs weird at first, but then once the comp recognizes it after about a minute, then it works just fine.

I had Ultima 8 installer disk 1 (floppy disc missing, yes was years ago) and also few years back CD missing from KOTOR,was annoying to say the least but it does happen.

BTW happy gaming with Vista x64,I know I'm having fun gaming with it :).

They probably will not take it back. You will most likely have to mail the disk, cd key, etc to the game developer and they will mail you a new disk and cd key. This process often takes 2 weeks or so with your average company. It sucks, but if I were you I would just buy another copy. There is always the option of buying a new copy, getting your replacement, and selling that replacement to a friend to get your money back.
