Mother board question

I have an ASUS P5Q Pro mother board with an Intel e6600 Core 2 Duo running @3.40GHz, and Windows 7 64 bit. Due to economic restraints I have to upgrade a piece at a time. Question for those who might be familiar with this board. I was wondering if my P5Q Pro board would handle an EVGA GeForce GTX460 Superclocked 1024 MB DDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card for the time being until I can upgrade it. Thanks

Don't see why not? It has the same slot config as most motherboards do (PCIe x16), so as long as your PSU is adequate & you plug in the necessary two 6-pin PCI-E power connectors to the card, you'll be fine.
