Mother Board Monitor Discontinued

That`s very sad news indeed 🙁 ,I`m downloading the final & very last version now (5.3.7.0 dated 18 June 2004) being I`m still on the previous version.

MBM has been a very good free useful utility IMHO.

Actually it won't because it'll only manage to keep working for another generation or two of "some" montherboards.

But you comment was ncie anyway 😉

I switched to Speedfan awhile ago. It does what MBM does as far as monitoring, and adds automatic or manual fan rpm control, HDD SMART, and HDD temp monitoring. Great program.

I have to agree with everything he said. It really was an ulgy program but it did get the job done.

hey thanks 🙂 someone who agrees, yipee!

'tis indeed a sad thing.

Here's hoping that someone, somewhere, reverersengineers the sensor-reading routines out of it, and then starts an open-source package instead, iuing that knowledge.

sad, sad, sad....d*mn the day i buy a MoBo and MBM cant read the sensor because its OUTDATED....

I wouldnt even know an alternative ! I use(d) MBM for YEARS..thats like saying MS 'discontinued' showing the clock in the taskbar or something 🙂
