Can anyone tell me where I can find a motherboard manual for a Wintec W6BXA-0 440BX chipset, slot 1, 66/100MHz Bus. I have determined that the board is made by Edom. The Edom web site directs you to Wintech and the Wintech web-site is unavailable.
Is WIN Technologies Corp. still in business?
I want the manual to assist me in upgrading my Celeron 300A, to a Pentium II 450MHz. I am not sure if I will need to make any jumper changes. I could use the extra power for gaming. If I knew that the upgrade was as simple as just plugging in the new CPU, I would skip the motherboard manual search.
Any ideas or advice about how to upgrade to a PII-450 would be appreciated.
