What im wondering is how a ati card will work with a intel mobo + core 2

ATI Radeon X1950XTX 512mb

Will it make a difference if the mobo is intel instead of amd?
 
No it doesnt matter, it should be compatible. I have an ATI video card on Nvidia 🙂D) motherboard with AMD processor. I'm pretty sure ur setup will work. There is an industry standard and everyone obeys it, since it will be easier to develop products for one standard, and u will get a bigger customer base..
