Motels...

I have to stay in Utica for one night at the cheapest place possible.

Motel 6 or Super Motel 8?

bad or bad?

im a manager at a super8, and know a lot about the market of many hotel chains... if you are trying to decide between only those two, the clear answer is that super 8 has far better standards in an economy hotel class

if it's one night and you're looking for the cheapest place possible, just figure out which one is cheaper and go there. duhhhh!! 🙂

You would say that, wouldn't you.

Um, yea, Super 8 all the way - if you're lucky they'll have a "toast bar" for breakfast. (ahem) The only time I've stayed at Motel 6 it was pretty much as ghetto as ghetto gets - one very small step up from the "rent by the hour" / "married guy bangin the intern" shacks at the edge of small towns.

I pick Super 8 over Motel 6.

I've stayed at a couple from each chain over the course of my life, and Super 8 generally seems like better places.
