Mostly busted GTX260, PhysX?

I have a GTX260 that more or less gave up the ghost, but am wondering if there is any point is putting it into my system as a PhysX board. My GPU is a 6970 2GB, would there be a conflict between the two?

The issue is that it doesn't output video properly, artifacting.

Is there a good way to test what aspect of the card is bad?

Also, baking it... I what, hook it up to a vaporizer and have it get a good buzz going?
