Most User-Friendly Text Animation Software (not FLASH) for MAC/PC?

Hi all,

I desperately need a program for creating a simple (or a little bit complex) text animation. I know that flash is somewhat the best in this .. but I need something more simple. I have to make this by Sunday (May 3) and I'll be presenting in an auditorium. I'll be showing this presentation via a projector. The easiest output for me is a video file.

Are there any flash-like programs (user friendly) for MAC and/or PC that can make this?

How about MS PowerPoint or OpenOffice Impress?

If you use Impress, you can export your presentation to Flash.
