I'm going with gopunk on this one: Tropico. Such a fun game, I don't know how many hours I wasted on this game without being on the internet or shooting someone. Sim-island, but it was nice. For some reason, I didn't enjoy #2 so much.

yea, i dunno if i'm even going to try #2... the gamespot review made it seem not as cool as the first...

it's really a good game for people that love the nuances in strategy, i think.

I introduced my gf's brother to Samba De Amigo on Friday. He bought a DC and ordered a set of maracas on Ebay the next day!

Dead or Alive 2 on the Dreamcast was badly overlooked and really proved that the DC had the hardware to perform. Also Skies of Arcadia, I jsut have to say alot of Dreamcast games were overlooked because they were on the Dreamcast.

I don't remember if Battlezone (the action/RTS PC game) made a splash, but it was/is one of my all time favorites.
Battlezone II does not compare.

A-train by Maxis. Released years ago, way before sim city 2000, yet many of the features that A-train had are only showing up on sim city4 now.
