The Cult

A great band with an odd blend of mysticism, hard rock and melody.

Great White

a lot of talent, but a one hit wonder: Once Bitten, Twice Shy.

any others?

Cinderella

I like this band's sound. Gypsy Road is actually a pretty killer song.

Demon

They started in 1976 but didnt release their first album till 1981. Not many heard of them.

Check out the sound clips off their older albums starting from 1981.

Oh yes, may I also mention Sacred Reich. They started in 1985 and released their first album in 1987.

They are more thrash metal than hard rock, but I still consider them as hard rock. 😛

Great band. If you are interested in hearing them, send me a PM. I'll send you a song. 🙂

Ian Hunter solo and with Mott the Hoople did it much better than their cover.

Hmm, Oingo Boingo was punk-pop and Concrete Blonde was 90s, so how about The Call ("I Still Believe", "Let the Day Begin")?
