I'm curious to know what you all think is the most underappreciated album ever. This should be quite interesting. My personal choice: Faith No More's Angel Dust. If I remember right, it was a commercial failure, but it remains one of the unique in hard rock/metal. If you have never listened to FNM, do not start with that album though.

Breaking Benjamin's first (that I know of) album Saturate. I thought it kicked @$$.

The band Ra (self-title album) was pretty good and recieved little exposure from what I could tell.

i thought the breeders' title TK was amazing, but it was a big flop. everyone knows them cause of the cannonball, but their other material was really good, and pretty psychedelic, too.

I'm a huge 311 fan but I thought that album was crap :( From Chaos and Grassroots are by far my favs, and speaking of From Chaos, I thought the worst tracks on the album were the ones that got play . . . I can't STAND the ballads on that album but those were the singles :(

I agree that Transistor wasn't their best. My favorite of their's was always "Music".

I totally agree. Music was the best album by far considering at the time they were the only ones making music that sounded like that. The first time i saw them there was under 100 at a club in Orlando FL. Now they sell out the arena there.....

Transistor was hardly crap! It may be your least favorite but it wasn't crap at all...

I don't know about most underappreciated album EVAR, but I think Chevelle: Wonder What's Next is up there on the list. It has sooo many good songs other than "The Red" which was the first popular song off of that album.
