In BG2, I sayyojimbo (or whatever that thief's name was)
Yoshimo (pronounced Yo - Sheeee - mo)
As for me, I guess
Aribeth
Also the above mentioned character from BG2.

I know a lot of people didn't like the single player in that game but I was really attached to them by the time they were killed off.Ghost and Roach
Okay, so why do we need spoilers for games that came out like 15 years ago? Sorry, but if you haven't played those games yet, too bad.
i once played this japanese game where you constantly have sex with a house full of girls, and at the end you marry one of them. i wound up with the little girl, but the one i wanted was the teacher. does that count?
I agree about feeling bad about them. What even made it worse, the plot didnt really seem to make sense why they were killed, at least to me. Maybe i missed it.
I have to say though that the overall plot was extremely improbable. It seemed more like a series of arcade levels patched together.
What? They got off'ed becauseThey found evidence that would have connected the current Commander of the US troops to the terrorist attacks
That game had a great story line - something many games of its genere are severely lacking nowadays.
It was still highly improbable. I think those two deaths though were well made and despite all the hubbub made over the massacre in the airport that hit me harder then slaying the civilians.
lol you should really warn about that or spoiler it. I know it's hard to believe, but there have to be some gamers out there that don't know about her yet.
Theat the end of Freespace 2.player character
In response to your post -In Gears of War 3 -and then WHY didDOM dies (although I hope he comes back! Seems like they may have left this as a possibility).Marcus Dad have to die???? Dude had no one left!
What about when you have to kill the "burnt to a crisp"...............
If you play a Death Knight in WoW, there's this one quest early on in the starting area where you have to kill a prisoner to show your allegiance to the Lich King. This prisoner turns out to be someone you knew in your past life. When you tried to kill them, they tried to remind you of who you were, how you were good friends/family/mentored by them and how good a person you were in your past life. But of course you'll still have to kill them in the end.
Doing this part always bothers me.
