Most stolen cars last year..

See I seriously think this list is messed up. I hear more times than ever that Camrys and Accords are most stolen. I saw on the news many times those rankings and it holds true. Look at MSN Auto, Forbes, CNN Money, MSNBC..

Dunno about this. This list seems weird cuz I see so many Integs BMWs, etc etc. Cheaper cars are stolen more because you sell the parts for more than the car is worth...

It's based on percentage, not total quantity.

Since Camrys and Accords are the best selling cars out there the % stolen is lower..

San Jose Mercury News reported that many early 90's Accords and Saturns can be stolen using any key from that model, because the locks are so worn down. Teenagers steal them as transportation, and don't even take the radios or anything. The cops say wherever you find the stolen vehicle, there's another one stolen within two blocks.

Although I tested this with my and my friend's accords and it did not work (thank goodness), I still use the club religiously now. It's such a theft of opportunity and the cars are so common that any little deterence ought to have them on to the next car. Actually, we've got 3 4th-gen accords in our driveway alone!

well...
i didn't have 1999 integra...
but my 97 integra gs-r was stolen about 3 years ago...

so... i guess the trend continues.

damm you civic owners!!!!
