Which one will be the best overclocking board?
Asus P4C800 deluxe
Asus P4P800 deluxe
Abit AI7
Abit IC7-Max3
I have a P4 2.8c m0 and 2 sticks of 512 Kingston HyperX PC4000.
I want to reach 250MHz fsb so that i can get a 1:1 ratio.

Those are all decent boards....I would replace the AI7 with the IS7 though....better board IMO. For the highest possible FSB's, stick with the i875's.

I went with the IS7 and love it....here's the specs..

If you just want 250FSB, all those boards will do that, so then decide based on price, features, etc.

I'd probably go for P4C800 due to passive cooling and 875 chipset

Otherwise like I said they are all excellent. I'd also take IS7 v1.2 over AI7 since AI7 is the worst overclocker between all of these. When I say that I mean it wont reach 270+FSB like the others.

Remove the AI7 and then pick out any of those at random. All those boards can reach 250FSB as u wanted. It's just a matter of whether your 2.8 is a good overclocker or not. The ones which are not good overclockers will hold you back more than the board itself.

i have a 2.8c/geil pc4000/is7

i LOVE this mobo. ultra stable with a lot of bios options for ocing and its fairly cheap

the only gripe i have is a max vcore of 2.8v

without even using it, i like the AI7 more though. you get the exact same IS7 with a modified layout and uGuru

2.8v is the max for memory, not CPU. I like the IC-7G for overclocking without having to pay the extra for the Max-3. And I run an M0 at 3.5GHz (250FSB) without really pushing it yet at stock voltage.
