I understand there is no factual evidence as of current, but there are a high reported amount of incidents with arguements that go either way...

So, I want the back of the room, reliable, yet still a good performer HDD. Let me know guys, thx.
 
Had one wd drive fail on, but it was promptly replaced by WD and the replacement works just fine!

Maxtor drive I have still is ok after a year (it's my storage drive, so it gets used pretty heavily)
