Understandibly, i seem to get quite an array of results when i test my connection.

RR: 5/384 connection

Tests Range from 786 up to 4.7mb

Tommorow i plan to bump my RR up to either 10/1 or 15/2

Any sites to trust as the most reliable? Should i just expect to see the speeds increase across the board?

I've found they are all pretty inaccurate (by as much as 50%)

Best way would be to FTP from a server you control somewhere that has a much fatter pipe than you.

Out of curiosity, what's the price for the upgrade aphex?

$10 more for 10/1
$15 more for 15/2

To be honest, i dunno exactly how much that works out to since i have a package deal...

From what i can tell its roughly $50 for 10/1 and $55 for 15/2

Im assuming they will drop the price as FIOS is available around much of the bay area now, hopefully anyday now for me.

Well the switch has been made.... $10 for 10/1

Im averaging about 7-9mbps on the downstream and 1mb across the board on the up..

I'll keep it for a bit to see if the change is worth it.
