I'd like a suggestion to go for to get the most quiet case fans for my Corsair 800D and for a water cooling system (Antec). I need them to be as quiet as possible, but be useful with good performance.

Price doesn't matter at all.

Thanks.

So far Scythe Gentle Typhoon 120mm are a recommended series?

First off, most AIO coolers have a high FPI ratio, so installing a quiet fan such as a GT-15, GT-14, NB e-loop, you need to consider that most likely your cooling performance will be degraded...

For low speed usage, any GT or e-loop will be fine. Below 1000rpm it comes down to looks. I would also recommend you pay a visit to Martins site and read his reviews of current fans...it should be helpful.

Thanks. What is a FPI ratio?

Fins per inch. Most rads that are designed for "quiet" operation have an FPI of 9~13 fins per inch, while your higher performing rads have FPI ratios well into the high teens. The higher the FPI, the more restrictive the air flow becomes due to the density, hence you need higher rpm fans.

HTH Martins Liquid Lab (the link I posted earlier) has great information on how this all works...it's really worth the reading.
