i'm seriously convinced that that local new's is blowing rain showers out of proportion into "weather events" to sell more toilet paper, so where do you get your weather? I don't trust google either, call me paranoid but where do the weather nerds get their weather reports from?

Well, I don't look for a ton of decimal points in my weather sources. Did you mean most accurate weather source?

Sounds to me like you really need an accurate source, not necessarily a precise one.

Having said that, I still dont know of any one weather place thats always good. I just use the included weather app on my Sony phone cuz frankly I get tired of comparing data all day long.
You will never be truly sure what the weather holds, so always keep an emergency kit in your car that includes gloves, a nice warm hat, and one of those compact rain coats.

I used to think my weather app was accurate. So this morning it says it's 44 out but feels like 50. So I got a little bundled up and leave 5 minutes later.

It felt like 60 out and gorgeous. WTF.

Become a terrorist and join the weather underground!

I also use their App. Although, living in CO the weather here it seems can't be predicted very well. And the App says rain by 9 PM and no rain. Yet Boulder has one of two? weather modeling computers.

I use these sites when I plan a trip in Flight Simulator.

I'm in Paris now. It's been CAVOK for the last couple of days, but I expect that to change since they have had a low barometer.

I just use The Weather Channel. I don't find any weather sites I've used (Weather Underground, AccuWeather, etc) noticeably more accurate than other ones. They all just give a general idea. I wonder if anyone has done a scientific study of how accurate the most common weather sites/apps are?
