i have a couple of console suggestions.

- Wonder Boy (Sega Master System)
- Dragon Warrior (NES / SNES)
- NHL series (Genesis)

also, how about the "Games" series - ie. California Games, Winter Games, Summer Games etc. for the C=64?

Last I saw, Dragon Warrior/Quest was supposed to be the topselling RPG Franchise. FF was close behind, but still behind

Devil May Cry doesn't have enough games yet to call it a Franchise, so that shouldn't be on the list. Same with Halo; Microsoft's going to make it a franchise, but it's not yet.
