good episode of The OC tonight. Summer's comment about Seth being drunk had me rolling:

Summer: ew, you smell like Marissa!
*pause*
Summer: you're drunk!

I've always been quite vocal about my hatred of Marissa, but I was really feeling for her tonight. What her dad did was a total selfish asshole thing to do. The idea of just saying "even though you're my sexkitten ex-wife, you're married to someone else now, not to mention you're a manipulative bitch. so as much as I want to make a booty call, I'm going to resist the tempation." Instead, he just leaves Marissa to the care of her pscyho mother and criminal step father.

That final scene with Marissa at the Cohen's house was really great, but the fact that no one even even talked to her about her alcoholism also really bothers me. Seth and Ryan can claim ignorance, but Summer obviously knows. I mean, when you're on your lunch period and you spike your juice box with vodka, you have a problem!
