skyline
What's over rated about the Skyline range? The R32 generation was a defining moment in Japanese performance cars and introduced some fantastic technology. Everything since has been legendary, up to the current generation which is causing more waves than any before it.
OMGSSSARRTHIRTYYYY...oohhh...ohhhh...im gonna come...TWO?
People pass it off as a jesus of all cars... what fantastic technology did it introduce? AWD? Turbo straght 6?
Hell 3000GT VR4 had more technology gadgets than skyline.
Technology isn't always about gadgets.
Most serious car guys will not say crap about the Skyline GT-R. The platform can be pretty easily made to smoke SUPERBIKES and still be a daily driver. It's an insane car.
edit to denote GT-R is the skyline that's the monster. To many post up GT and GTS-T or even skyline sedan specs.
Smoke superbikes? In the corners maybe... liter bike will cracks 0-60 under 3 seconds. Supercars have trouble keeping up with sportbikes.
This exactly why i said it's overrated. Ricebois think that a skyline and a BFT (big f turbo) will outrun everything on the road.
Yes. R32/33/34s modded to 800+hp regularly throw down sub-10s on the quarter, and sub-3s to 60. Drag bikes that are stretched and with a wheelie stub can beat that, but it's not exactly a streetable setup.
That said, Skylines are incredibly rare here, and even more rare to see one modded to insane levels like that. A $10k bike will toast a $100k car almost every time in an old-school drag race.
