Redcross. It's about as neutral as you can get, and they do a very good job managing what is given to them.

This. The only remotely religious event or affiliation the Human Fund could be linked to is Festivus.

The airing of grievances has deep religious significance for me. Now kiss my (fesitvus) pole.

Salvation Army is least biased in the grand scheme of things.

Red Cross is a joke. They are very political in who they help and their admin costs are ridiculous.

Red Cross has been seen as politically biased. Their own (ex) workers have protested over them.
Folks here might want to spend a little time snooping around google to find out more.

I'd say if you want to give a donation your all without having to worry about any corruption or profiteering, go with a small local organization. The bigger, the shadier.
