Most Misspelled words on message boards.

now, I make a lot of spelling mistakes too, and I haven't been grammatically correct since 1995, hell I probably spelled something wrong already, but there are a few words that annoy me when they are misspelled.

#1 Ridiculous

why do so many people think that it begins with "red" I just saw it in another post today! ARRGH.

#2 Definitely

I always see it as "definitaly" or some variation that contains the letter "a"

what are some other ones?
 
Misuse of "then" and "than"

Misuse of "affect" and "effect"

If you are gonna use "either", follow with "or"
"neither" "nor"

And what is "prolly"? Should be "probably"
 
BTW if I see another "your dumb" I am gonna blow up, it should be "you're dumb" !!!!

 
Don't forget 'wierd'. And how about forgetting about adding a ' in words like "don't, won't can't" etc.

i never put in the ' when i spell, and i admittatdly have the worst spelling around but it annoys me when people dont know the difference between your and youre ((or you're for you ' people))

I have problems with &quot;about it&quot; sometimes...

I emailed my boss with 'abou tit' once, I wonder if the content scanner on the email blocks that?
