Inspired by the other thread, I'm sort of interested in this.

Mine is:

1992 Cavalier 222,716 miles.

LOL. Sure you did...A Cavalier is a domestic, remember?

Only Hondas, Toyotas, and possible Nissans, can go that long

I see a ton of domestics in this thread.

To be fair this is the "most miles ever gotten our of a car". How about "The least miles ever gotten out of a car before it needed engine/tranny work"? I think that would work much better.

My 92 prelude, 69k and a new tranny, better?

A good friends new 350z, less than 500 miles 3 times in the shop and was almost able to invoke the lemon law.

edit: my friend had a 92 baretta with 290k and ive also seen a f150 with 300k

Oh come on. American cars can get high mileage, too. The difference is that the Jap cars get there without needing the engine and/or transmission rebuilt a couple of times. 🙂

83 Celica (I guess you can count it as mine, I split the cost with my brother & he later bought me out). He's still driving it today with 320K or so miles on it.

Viper GTS
