I just saw Mindless self indulgence in Towson, MD.

They were great and the crowd was really the most aggressive I have ever experienced.


I tried to get my way to the front in the middle of the concert and basically passed out from all the body heat. I have no idea how people can stand to be up front the whole time when you have people crushing you coupled with unbearable heat.

One funny thing that happened when a very attractive girl takes of her top next to me. Im sitting their like WTF and focus on the concert. She then asks me to take my shirt off. I said ok and took it off.

For the next 20 mins it was boobies on my back and arm fest. We were packed like sardines so I could not have moved even if I wanted to. And then She kept making comments about herself being wet.

I decided to ask her how old she was the moment the concert ended. She was like "I'm 16".

Im sure my expression was funny as hell. I left in a hurry.

Disclaimer: I know im gonna get plenty of flames for this post but I dont care because I had a great time.

haha, I have been to a few MSI concerts...great performers.

usually I can get to the front no problem...seems to be that way at all of the shows I went to, except this one big dude... good lord, scurred.

I tried very hard and Im not a weak guy by any means. I was at the mercy of tons of slippery bodies. I can stand the pressure but the heat was making me feel ill. I also forgot to mention people were being carried out left and right. I guess the heat mixed with dehydration was just too much for some.
 
mosh pits can be harsh

and its always nice when girls get naked without even asking them.

At a greenday concert this girl infront of me had her top off..and then she bent over and slid her pants all the way down...only a thong on.

I was like 16 at the time so...I was excited lol.


 
MSI is a great band. Underage boobies at a rock concert is not a surprise. Crazy pits even less of a surprise. Underage boobies and Crazy pits at a rock concert for a great band is completly expected.

I drink about a gallon of water that day (also the previous day) before any decent show, never been dehydrated.

only 165lbs and 6 foot, can push them beotches like no tomorrow.

I expected it but not to this extreme. The only pits Ive been in that would rival this pit was woodstock '99.

Yeah I am normally 160ish at 5'4''. I figured I could just push people out of the way but i got closed in immediately when I entered the front section.
 
I've seen them twice at CBGB's.... most of the fans of MSI are the most fvcked up people I've ever seen in my life.

Something about the total package is generally quite unappealing.

They do have a few straight songs though.


I really suspect that I would hate a Mindless concert too, as my idea of a good intense is not a really hot crazy moshpit with people being injured and passing out from exhuastion left and right.

Good intense is a Tool concert.

Plus I would probably loathe 50+% of the people in the venue. :laugh:
 
When I saw them in Ottawa, the venue wasn't that packed and there were no topless women. The mosh pit was lame too. My brother and I were the oldest people there (23, 25) by far. It seemed like a high school convention.
 
Mine was the Slipknot, Lamb of God, Shadows Fall concert last year.

I was the second guy back from the stage and I thought I might pass out from heat exhaustion. Despite this thought, I rocked and moshed more than any other concert, because Slipknot brings out the beast in me 🙂

i'll be at the recher this thursday for Byzantine, despite the headliner (Kittie). i'm bracing myself for a crowd of goth middle schoolers. sigh...
