I would have to say out of the countless I can think of...

(doesnt have to be lyrics, but it can be, just the feeling of the song is good enough)

the minstrel boy-joe strummer and the mesceralos

dont wanna miss a thing-aerosmith

ironman-black sabbath

i know there are others but I cannot think of them

name some so i can listen to them...when I am not in the mood for working or going out for a run or something i pop in a cd full of them..and suddenly its easy to do...

I like "No Easy Way Out" from Rocky IV. You know, the one where he races his Lambo and trains:D

EDIT: Looks like I read the title wrong too:p

I like Head Like A Hole by NIN when I am working out. "desire" and "Mysterious ways" by u2 help me pick up the pace when I'm jogging. "Obsession", "Your'e One of My Kind (Need You Tonight)" and other peppy little '80's songs help out, too.

But interestingly enough, the song thatinspires me the most is Dust in the Wind by Kansas. It helps me to calm down and center myself, and stop worrying about crap that doesn't matter. Nothing like realizing we are all worm food to give yourself perspective. :D

Chariots of Fire!

For some strange reason it just seems more appropriate to move in slow motion when listening to it.

You should check out Devo's version of Head Like a Hole, it's rather entertaining :p
But I'm upset because I just heard Dust in the Wind in a Subaru commercial last night.
