Most Important thing about video cards

WHat's the most important spec you guys look for in a video card? clock speed of video memory, amount of memory, number of polygons per second, fill rate, what?

If I had to answer, I'd say pipelines or fillrate (those are connected obviously).

However, thats not really a good answer. Obviously, the raw specs only give you a glimpe at best, and only looking at ONE part of the specs gives you even less of a glimpse. Its the combination of pipelines, clockspeeds, architecture and a range of other factors that combine into the real performance of the card.

The only thing you can judge a video card by is benchmarks. The fill rate on the x850xtpe is near the 7800gtx, but those two are miles away in performance. you have to see benchmarks or test them yourself.
