most important aspect of a relationship

not everyone is in the same stage in life. some are looking for a lifelong partner, others just want a fvck partner. Would you rather have someone to have interesting conversations with? or someone who is just fun to be around? ideally, your partner will be all above the above. but if you could pick just one, which one would you choose?

nobody voted for physical attraction? i think i will just to even out the poll a little bit =) seriously though, you can get most things out of an opposite sex best friend (good conversation, fun hanging out, emotional comfort), but you probly won't having a fun time in the sack if you don't find them attractive.

I don't know about intellectually compatible... I think I would like a partner that's smarter so I can feel challenged and dominated 😱

At this point in my life, I'm not going to be in a relationship unless I'm first physically attracted to the person, then find myself to be compatible with their personality, and then feel the extra little "spark" that's necessary for all the emotions to kick in.

So, beyond those things, I'd nominate either trust or communication as being most important.

However, of the factors listed, I chose intellectually compatible. I took that to encompass personality as well, and personality definitely plays more of a role than physicality with me...assuming I'm at least somewhat physically attracted to the person to begin with.

You're not going to start any romatic relationship with someone you're not somewhat physically attracted to. I voted for intellectually compatible. They might be really hot and sexy, but when they do dumb things that just ruins everything. It becomes a daunting task when you have explain yourself to someone nonstop because they don't understand.
