Most Hard drives possible

Nightwatch

I have an ASUS P4C 800E and I'm only able to get 9 hard drives working. I tried to add a PCI IDE card but the computer would not boot.

What motherboard supports more drives? Can I do something to make this board work?

Are you sure the computer only would not boot due to the enormous power draw of 9 hard drives?
I can't honestly see why there is a limit to how many, other than drive letters/actual expansion room...

I have two power supplies so I don't thinks it a draw thin

Here are the specs on my two power supplies:

+3.3V 28A
+5V 30A
+12V 34A
-12V 0.8A
-5V 0.8A
+5VSB 2A
+3.3V, +5V 160W Max
Total Output 500W Max

In that I have one of these very same motherboards, let me ask, why you would want or need to run 9 drive ?

Thanks.
