Most gruesome scene in a movie?

That left a mark on you, and still makes you shrudder?

I would have to say it is from License to Kill, where they take a dude and put him in a pressure chamber and "explode" him. Ouch. That still makes me shrudder. Sure there are much mroe gruesome scenes in war movies, but none of them have left a mark like this one.

Blackhawk Down where they were doing that field operation on that guy. That was pretty bad.

It hit even harder because it was a true story.

what part was that? i don't remember it....

btw, i would have to go with either some scenes from hannibal, or when they stuff the guy in the woodchipper in rumble in the bronx

Now it seems laughable but in Raiders of the Loast Ark when that guys face melted I was scared sh!tless!!

I was scared of that scene when I was younger too 😱

One that comes to mind is that scene in the movie "Event Horizon" when they finally decode the video footage from after the ship went through the dimensional gate. It was a scence of total anarchy with people ripping and biting each other to shreds in a state of total madness.

There are many others, but I just watched that movie again recently...😉

The final scene of the movie "Dead Alive". I think they said they used something like 200 gallons of fake blood for it. He basically holds up a push lawn mower and liquifies everyone.

When that guy got shot, and they dragged him into the building. It was night and they couldn't get extracted at that point to a medical facility. So they had to try to fix him right out there. They had to reach into his body and try to pull out the artery or whatever that was wounded to "clamp" it.

event horizon was a good one. another is the scene in we were soldiers with the cutting of the burning phosphorous off the guys face.

I always found the battle scenes from Saving Private Ryan left me pretty numb. Not because they were gruesome so much, mainly because its difficult to think that people, some younger than me had to go though it for real.

TommyVercetti, one of the few scenes that actually made me seriously cringe was in the movie Men Of Honor where Gooding's character has the accident aboard the ship.

Lol....in any movie based thread you can pretty much be sure Office Space will get a mention! 😉

The beginning of Saving Private Ryan was definately one that had a big impact when you see it. One man gets blown in half... still alive for a little while. Another guy who had his arm blown off and he's just walking around in a dazed state looking for it.

Damn that was a good movie... I think i'm going to watch it as I try to fall asleep.
