Volvo S60 R. Impossible to crash

though admittedly I haven't driven many "fun" cars. I have a surprising amount of fun in my fusion though, despite being a 4. Pro-tip: summer tires year round and a manual are fun no matter what car it's in

I enjoy driving my A4 quite a bit. I drove a newer one but it felt the same to me.

2005 Lotus Elise.

The most fun you can have with your clothes on...

There's a guy on a local board that picked up a Lotus Elise right at the end of 2010 and already has it ripped apart. He's dropping a Honda engine & trans in it and looking to boost it, right now he said he'd be happy with about 400hp in it. :awe: You probably wouldn't want much more (or need it for that matter) in that car.

He had a 600+fwhp 240 he sold to get it, I seen that car several times and he definitely doesn't cut corners on his work. I'm looking forward to seeing his Lotus this summer.

I'd love to have one, don't fit in it at all. I can get in and out, I just can't use the pedals.

My favorite so far is my 1975 BMW 2002 ( pics in displacement thread ), I'll build something better here before long, just haven't decided what yet. I know for a fact it'll be pre 75 so I don't have to deal with the smog nazis in California.

1930 Ford 5 window coupe, body notched and dropped, open engine, no fenders. Should be more fun when the 440 goes in.

Kenne Bell Cobra Terminator is nice too ;)

69 Chrysler Town and Country wagon.... with over 400 hp :awe:

03 Boxter S, test drove 3 times, love the car, but it didn't have the overwhelming decisive future-proof power I wanted.

2009 Shelby GT500, which was also the scariest I've driven and first time I had driven stick.

I should be allowed to drive my buddies F430 soon and that will probably knock the GT500 off the top.

600+ being the gateway to that range for you? :awe:

i had a 1999 bmw 323is, pretty much anything on the e36 chassis will be fun to drive, the feel of the road and handling that chassis provides is unmatched

Never driven a Lotus Elise I guess because if you had you'd realize how incorrect that last statement is.

I owned an E36. It was a decent car but not even close to the driving experience of the Elise.

I'd have to go with an S2000, even though I have an EVO. It's like a go-kart. Too bad it isn't more practical.

You need to check out the RUF Roadster, pretty much a boxter with 400HP :)

Previously I would have said the F430, but the Noble M400 was mind blowing from a pure fun factor point. Not something I'd enjoy driving every day though.

650 hp 2004 KB Cobra with Saleen suspension under it..
talk about nasty. sideways at 100+
not only enormous off the line grunt.. but the damn thing would corner too.
It's owner was big time into SCCA club racing with it.

2004 Infiniti G35C .. VQ revup block and heads bored and stroked and twin turboed.. 550 hp G35.. sick sick and more sick.. the silky smooth range of the VQ with a shitton of boost slapped on. and still retaining its excellent handling and luxury. but plenty to smoke nearly anything you would encounter stock on the streets.

Damn a lot of you guys need a lot of power to have fun.

The most fun I've ver had in a car was with my '70 Bug. Sure I currently have a much faster car but that Bug was so damn fun.

No need to roll the eyes ( even if the Lotus owner sounds like a pretentious douche ), we were all young once and didn't have much real world experience about different cars. I can't say I've driven one either and I'd love to, had the opportunity but just physically couldn't do it, maybe if you pull the seat out and I sat on a box ( 40 inch inseam ).
