Look for the Zalman TNN-500A Fanless Case (Noise Free) case... Or look at Lian-Li cases, the V2100 is a quality unit... Quiet too.

LOL Zalman fanless! It's like 2000 american dollars...

Anyway Lian Li V-XXXX series are very good. Cooler (if by this you mean temperature) than Xasers by like 5 degrees C.

its cooler than the xasers? Even though it has 2 fans compared to 4-6 fans in the xsers?

Yes because the two fans are not only bigger (120mm opposed to 80mm) and it has passive cooling holes (see all the little holes all over the case?). Xasers are obnoxious and can be loud.

So Lian Li 1100b? The best case for under 200 pounds? Coolest and best looking? How sturdy is it?

I have the V1000b, which is slighty shallower than the V1100B. Biggest dissappointment is the non-removeable motherboard tray, which makes it hard to work with the motherboard. However, the cooling is a beast, my case is ready to take off (with its extra top fan hole) and it looks great (with its side window). In terms of sturdiness, it uses 2mm aluminum on the side panels which is very thick, and has a lot of nice little features in the case (like the unique lockable hard drive trays and seperate PSU compartment, not to mention the BTX form factor). I would pick it over the Xaser any day.

Actually, (as shown on the site) it's only about $1200 USD ($1199)...

As for the cooling of the Lian-Li cases, even though mine (V1100B) only has two 120mm fans, they cool better than 4 80mm fans. The case layout is also many times better, as is the material the case is made from.

Also, the V1100B is solid as a rock. Unlike so many other cases that skimp on materials (especially side panels) Lian-Li went all out. I like the V1100B over the others because the front door (full length) allows me to hide all the drives and such. The front USB and FireWire ports are also a lot better than I've seen on other cases.

Case layout? Ehh, I had a little more trouble with BTX than I had expected...but maybe that's just how it is.

I need some damn cable sleeving or something.

CMStacker is one of the best cases out there in terms of cooling and customizability (is this a word?). Only problem is that it weighs over 40lbs empty, and I can't imagine how much it would weigh with all the parts in it. :)

Actually, it weighs 14.7kg empty (which is 32.408 pounds) which is, by NO means 'over 40lbs'... Not sure how you did your conversion, but it's over 8 pounds off (which is 1gal. of water).

If you 'have to take it places' then you should either get a high end laptop, or build a system that's more mobile. Personally, I wouldn't lug around my desktop unless I'm moving someplace. If I'm visiting for <1-2 weeks, I just take my laptop with me. If you're lugging the beast around to LAN parties, then you really should consider getting either a game level laptop or something akin to a fragbox...

These are the 2 cases currently available..The Cavilier is about 2/3 of the price if that matters....

which?

Or should I just get it from some place else...But you say 15KGS for a case!! Arghh thatll almost be the whole allowed travel weight :p
How much does the Lian Li weigh? V1100?
