Most expensive night out?

~$3000 at a hostess bar. Used to frequent clubs and bars once or twice a week during the go-go days of the internet/tech stocks and $500-1k was average night out. Was making monopoly money so spent like it.

Between failed experiments with hookers and strippers, a lot of expensive food, drink and cigars, and a bunch of over-priced cab rides in the city of Orlando, I managed to personally spend a grand in one night.
Which was scary because I was only making about $750 a month back then.

Several thousand on NYC company expense with clients......with strippers thrown in at the end.

YES, this does happen in NYC!

I quit my bank job because there would be days where I would make in one day more than my annual salary via simply trading stock like Yahoo before earnings. Sigh, those were some fun times. Of course I got hammered post bubble. But it was a blast while it lasted.

Oh a night of drinking.

Probably like $50 😛

If one counts weed it goes around the $100 level.

About $750 in a wild night in Vegas with five other friends. Gambling, clubbing and of course strip clubs! I bet all told we combined for 2,500 that night.

$50-$75 was typical back in the day. Can't remember any exuberance though.

Well, maybe the day I got engaged if you figure hte engagment ring cost ($3800). Half a carrot and VERY high quality.

Disney land costs $100+ a day easy. So, maybe $200 there in one day.

Hope you properly paid taxes on all those short term capital gains.

I chose $15,000 and up. I went out one night, and came home with a new Mustang.

Who the hell voted $15,000+ and didn't tell the story?

My thoughts exactly. Tell or I call shens....

EDIT: Didn't realise this was my 666th post...

Back in the day when i used to frequent bars with my SO, spending $400 was not uncommon.

half a carrot eh? and it cost you almost 4000 bux? you got ripped off!

i've personally spent only a little over $200 in one night... it involved a lot of drinking =P

as for the most expensive night out, i'd guess it was one that started with dinner and a movie and ended in a pregnancy and the kid graduated from college... that would cost something like a good $200k
