Can I win if I own something horrendous and my kids play it a lot? Because if so, I win. I have both Jingle Dogs AND Jingle Cats. Yes, that's right. Pets barking, woofing, meowing and yowling all your favorite Christmas carols.

I'm embarrassed on behalf of almost all of you.

Even me, Bry?

Yeah, the pop crap spawned by American Idol is pretty bad, but I'm especially embarrassed for the ones who mentioned boy bands (Justin Timberlake, NSync, etc.) and the airhead girls (Titney, Madonna, Jessica Simpson, etc.)

You're going to lump Madonna in with Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson?!?!

I'm old enough to remember when Madonna WAS the Britney/Jessica of pop music.

Worst admission here!!!!!!!!111111111111 by a mile

Oh come on, you have to admit that guy can flat out sing!!!! Last time I listened to Solitaire and Invisible I got so pumped up I drop kicked my grandmother down the steps!!!!!
 Glad to see you're back :)

And agreed on MJ, while he's an utter lunatic and probably a pedophile as well, and should face the music for that, you can't take away the fact that he can really sing and dance as well. I just listened to Thriller last night at high volume and thoroughly enjoyed it ...

Yeah it's unfortunate what has happened to MJ over the past 20 years. I would have to say No Doubt is the most embarrasing for me since I am a guy, but they were great in concert (saw them open up for 311).

Interesting, no one else mentioned the Bee Gees nor much else older than about the mid 80s it seems. This is a younger crowd but then I'm only 22 and enyoy a number of artists from the 70s.

I'm bumping this thread because I just remember I actually like the spice girls quite a bit. Thats probably my most shameful one.

Quite embarrased to say, but I liked Michael Jackson's older 80's music. I thought it was pretty badass when I was younger.

WTF are you talking about? Thriller still kicks ass, and I am in no way embarrased.

Hell, even his music into the 90s was pretty good (Smooth Criminal anyone?). If he wasn't such a nutjob he'd be good today even.

MJ stuff is awesome and he's a great entertainer...its a shame he's also a wacko perv.

I'm not dissing MJ. His older music was very good. When I got older, I started listening to Heavy Metal, and my taste for music changed and don't care to listen as much(I do occasionally listen to a song or two, Beat It being an old fav.). As and Artist he's quite talented, as a person, well...You know already.
