you know, I hate themes with thick borders and 'loud' colors as well as obtrusive 3D looks. Want something like MacOS X but without the cheeseball bubblegum colors and bubbly scrollbars.

Windows classic. Seriously. Most space and ressource saving "Theme" that exists, you can even modify the colors easily ;).

Of course it's no where near being 1337 but it is functional.

I use a patched uxtheme DLL, and the Watercolor theme from themexp.org, with the Ergonomic sub-theme. Blends in really nicely for me :)

Question about theme XP. When I was running the install, there were messages about 3rd party apps that would also be installed and I cancelled it. Anyone have experience with this? Will it cause any problems?

Thanks

DO NOT USE THEMEXP FOR THEMES.

They are riddled with Spyware and Viruses now. I made that mistake 2 weeks ago and it took me a while to clean everything up.

I don't want to use Spybot and Adaware after I install a theme. I just go to Neowin to get my themes because it filters out a lot of the crap that's out there.
