I just heard on my local news that a woman is wanted by the police for stealing graveside statues and urns and selling them at antique shops and shows. Apparently she has profitted thousands of dollars and has been at this for years. How low can you get? Which would be worse...Realizing that your family members' memorial statue has been stolen, or realizing that you payed thousands of dollars at auction for a "wonderful" graveyard statue which now sits in your family room? Creepy.

I really doubt that the dead care, though I'm sure the living are hurt by it. I think it's more despicable when these maggots call elderly people and talk them out of their life savings, even threatening them to make them pay everything they have. A good portion of them are so lonely that they are merely glad to have someone to talk to, even if it means throwing away $200,000 or more.
