I voted for the US also and I am American. It says 'world' not 'Western friendly nations'. Meaning the US poses no great danger to Western friendly nations (which most nations on Earth are)
but certainly poses a grave threat to those it considers enemies. If you live in the M.E. you certainly fear the US more than anyone.
