Most customizable high end phone, unlocked bootloader, good undervolt, tap 2 wake

2 things I really enjoy are double tap to wake, and wifi calling on tmobile. Problem is no one has got wifi calling ported to a rom so I'm stuck with stock tmobile roms.

Is there a stock t-mobile rom on a high end phone that allows for easy root, undervolt (don't really need it but would like), and double tap to wake.

Not too large also as I mostly use my phone with 1 hand 1 thumb typing. Is the LG G2 the best choice (I had but unfortunately cracked the screen).

I know the HTC One M7 had both tap to wake (through custom kernel) and some custom ROMs were able to incorporate T-Mobile wifi calling as well. The problem is that the wifi calling module had to come from T-Mobile stock ROM, so when that stopped at 4.3 (I think), that's when support for wifi calling in custom ROMs ended (when custom ROMs moved on to 4.4, then 4.4.2, then 4.4.3/4).

Now that custom ROMs are Lollipop, T-Mobile's wifi calling has been left out for a while. The good news is that the T-Mobile Lollipop update for M7 supposedly come out this week (or at least soon). So I would expect that right after this, wifi calling will soon show up on several Lollipop custom ROMs.

The M8 *should* be the same (or even better), but I can't confirm because I don't have one.

Thanks I didn't know that, haven't used an HTC phone in some time. I'll look into it. I really like the LG, and some Sony's simply because I've used flashtool and other tools that have helped me go back to full stock, root and twrp was really easy to install.

Speed is not a huge concern for me. The LG G2 was plenty fast for me and 1080p is ok too as I don't really need QHD.

tmobile is rolling out wifi calling for the nexus 6, that would probably make it the best phone for your needs.

I've actually heard tmobile wifi calling rumors since N4, N5, and I heard in Feb? N6 was supposed to get it. I really can't wait on them until I actually see it.
