Most Comfortable Office Chair

I was at staples the other day, and saw this mesh like chair they had, and it was one of the most comfortable chairs i've sat in...but maybe its just cuz it looks like the Herman Miller Aeron Chair, and i really like that chair. So i was wondering what you guys think? I haven't had the chance to sit in the Aeron Chairs, and for 700 bucks a pop, i don't think i'm ever gonna. But what I really want to know is, what is the most comfortable office chair you've sat in.

mine is the staples one, it beats out the ergonomical ones i have at work that supposedly cost like 600 bucks.

the mesh one was amazing, those things must have just come out this year- weren't around when i bought mine last year. if they had, i would have sprung for it, they're so unique and are extremely comfortable. you wouldn't have thought it just by looking at it, you need to try it out.

they have these $400-600 chairs made by tempur-pedic i tried once at a back shop, omg it was orgasmic. they're the same company that make the $1,600 matresses made with the material they got from the space program (which they brag about endlessly). incredibly stuff, i almost fell asleep in the armchair they had on display too.

I just have a $150 Canadian chair thats black with some kind of fabric and armrests...quite comfortable. My dad's work uses chairs that cost $3000 a pop and at least 1 breaks a month...his work ain't too smart.

I´v tried that Mesh chair I think.. but that one is soooooooooo cheap !!!! the one I tried costs around $1000 here.

Anyway, best chair I´v tried, if it would cost that little here I would buy it

the one in the staples ad there is a fairly cheap imitation i think, it doesn't even have a full back. the head support is where it's at

Here in San Fran, you can pick up used Aeron chairs for under $500 with all the tumult and all.

Have one myself and love it.

I used to work at Toshiba Headquarters.. and all the chairs were Herman Miller's.. even the lowly maintenance guys got those. I guess i'm spoiled because those definitely aren't the most comfortable. yes they were above average, but i would love a nice big leather executive chair anyday. the Herman Miller's felt cheap after a while even though they're expensive as hell.

Nice big executive chairs are comfortable, sure... but they're hardly functional. My Aeron chair is the perfect combination of comfort, and functionality. It allows me to work comfortably, and I can hardly do that in a monolithic exec chair.

Just put it this way, when your playing CS for 8 hours straight, the Aeron is the way to go. (not done 8 hours of CS but have sat in one all day) 😀
