Most comfortable headsets (with mikes)???

I got these Plantronics DSP-500 or somethings... (the ones with the counterstrike logo) and they are extremely uncomfortable over long periods of time.

I don't mind spending the money... but I'd like a pair of headphones (with a mike!!) that are very comfortable over long durations. Lightweight, simple fit would be nice.

I would appreciate if you can give me any insight into this because right now my ears are ringing and what I've done is tossed the cans around my neck and boosted the volume to use them.

Thanks for any help!

I am actually looking for a set too. The pair you mentioned was on my list, I will mark them off!!! I also was looking at these two:

ALTEC LANSING
Sennheiser PC155

The Sennheiser are much more expensive, but I really like over the ear design, and they look like true over the ear. I have been trying to find somewhere that carried them but keep coming up short. I currently have these with a seperate mic and they are amazing, but latly I have been going to some LAN parties and an all in one solution would be the best, I think, but they are hands down the best headphones I have ever heard and mine are about 12 or 13 years old this Christmas!!!!!! So what ever I get has to be really good or no sale.

I've got just the thing for both of you.

The free headset that came with the UT2K4 special edition is the best.
Made by Logitech, they are behind the ear. I play HL2 for 3 hours at a time, and don't even notice they are there. I can even play with glasses on, and there is no discomfort. Plus they actually sound good playing music. They're cheap and the mic works great.

Trust me on this one, for $19 plus shipping, you can't go wrong, and you'll be surprised at the results.
You don't need to spend $100 for headphones.

Yeah, you don't need to spend 100 bucks on head phones, but if you have ever heard a 100 dollar set of head phones you will know why we would want too. They are amazing.

Agreed. I just bought the Sennheiser PC155s after reading many, many reviews of their prolonged comfort.

Thanks everybody!

So you like them? Give us your reveiw, because those are the ones I am leaning toward to replace my sony's.
