Geometry Wars.

Not my highest score, but I hadn't played it for about 3 weeks then played it and got this score ... not too bad for not playing in a few weeks :D

Shadowbane - the fall of Aggression of Warrior Nation on the Chaos server.. this was the first of the WN trees to fall

Shadowbane - A big rainbow zerg army..

Those screenshots were taken years ago. They were just significant events that changed the layout of the Chaos server map.

Just a 6600GT/2.1Ghz tbred-b/1Gb RAM/Asus A7V8X mobo

It's the 64-bit hax extended content (on my 32 bit OS/CPU no less): for a guide to installing it on XP look here: http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview...atid=31&threadid=1762724&enterthread=y

enjoy ;)

I've waited for this day.

Yes, the original Unreal was spectacular in its day.

IMO it still holds up pretty well even today (provided you use the S3TC high resolution textures), but there are much better screenshots he could have posted than that :p

Edit: Text, Text, Text, Text, Text, Text, Text, Text

:p

I'm a sucker for large screenshots of sky :p It really was the second moment of awe I've had in seeing something in a video game. (the first was when I played Mario Bros 1 on an NES and was insanely psyched that he moved when I pressed on the d-pad).
I'm still waiting for a third moment. Until then, I feel video games haven't really made vast progress.

My first video card purchase as a 3dfx voodoo banshee (gimped voodoo2 + 2d ability). Came with unreal. When I installed it, my brother, dad, and I just stared in awe at the opening sequence. Haven't found a game that has done that (graphically) again yet.

Should've posted these earlier.. IMO I really like these screen shots, not sure how the rest of atot will feel about them.. Yes I do infact play with the FPS counter, as it did come extremely handy on the second to last level (Dam) where the FPS dropped to as low as 10FPS because of the trigens' shooting off those cannons.. Crazy scene..
