I'm curious why so many people in this thread associate small towns or open spaces with "boring" ? I don't find such places boring at all.
To me what is boring is something that is fake or pointless, devoid of meaning.
go live there and you'll see why i called it boring.
regular conversations:
"did you see that deer that got hit outside of town?"
"your <insert either soybeans or corn> is growing real nice this year."
"besinger's runoff is ruining my crop!"
"penn football is looking mighty tough this year."
continue this for 20+ years ad nauseam.
