Most people have cameras in order to absolve themselves of blame if they aren't breaking the law and get into an accident, so that there is evidence. It... proves it after the fact.

He wasn't following at all. The car wasn't maintaining its lane and eventually moved into his/her lane and stopped. Even if they were traveling in the same lane, he/she also managed to stop without hitting the other car, which refutes your "following too close" assertion. You are a very bad analyst.

He tried to clarify his position with one that was EVEN MORE WRONG than the one we initially assumed he was going with. When I make mistakes like that, I expect to be called out on it. couldn't charge her with dwi/dui. once she leaves the scene they cant prove that she didn't drink more while away.

this happened to me when I was young and stupid over 30 years ago, was partying at a friends house and left, street he was on ended at a T intersection with a flashing red light which put me in a daze and ran strait through the T and ended in a farmers field. left to make a call and when I got back the cop was already there and said as much.

other charges may apply to her.
